How to delete your account from Xing

General Prerequisites

• Ensure you are logged into your Xing account.
• Make sure you have access to the email associated with your Xing account.

Steps to delete your account

1. Login to your account:

   • Go to Xing and log in with your credentials.

2. Navigate to Account Settings:

   • Click on your profile picture or your name in the top right corner to open the dropdown menu.
   • Select "Settings" from the dropdown menu.

3. Access the Account Deletion Page:

   • In the settings menu, click on the "Account" tab.
   • Scroll down to the bottom of the page and look for the "Delete account" link.

4. Initiate the Deletion Process:

   • Click on the "Delete account" link.
   • You will be prompted to enter your password to confirm the deletion.
   • Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.

5. Confirm Deletion:

   • You may receive a confirmation email. Follow any additional instructions provided in the email to finalize the deletion of your account.

Notes

• Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data, connections, and messages will be permanently removed.
• If you have a premium membership, make sure to cancel it before deleting your account to avoid any future charges.
