How to delete your account from Wattpad

Before you proceed, ensure you have access to your Wattpad account and are logged in.

Steps to delete your account

1. Login to your account: Go to Wattpad and log in with your credentials.
2. Access Account Settings:
   • On the top right corner, click on your username to open the dropdown menu.
   • Select "Settings" from the dropdown menu.
3. Navigate to Close Account:
   • Scroll down to the bottom of the Settings page.
   • You will see an option labeled "Close Account."
4. Close Your Account:
   • Click on "Close Account."
   • You will be prompted to provide a reason for leaving. Select an appropriate reason from the dropdown menu.
   • Enter your password to confirm the deletion.
   • Click on the "Close Account" button to finalize the process.

Notes

• Once your account is deleted, all your stories, comments, and other data will be permanently removed and cannot be recovered.
• If you have any issues or cannot access your account, you can contact Wattpad support at [email protected] for assistance.
• Make sure to download any content you wish to keep before deleting your account, as this action is irreversible.
