How to delete your account from Tumblr

General Prerequisites

• Ensure you are logged into your Tumblr account.
• Be aware that deleting your account will also delete any blogs you own. If you are a member of a group blog, your departure will not delete the group blog itself.

Steps to delete your account

1. Log in to your Tumblr account: Open your web browser and go to Tumblr. Enter your login credentials to access your account.

2. Access Account Settings: Click on the account icon (person-shaped icon) in the top right corner of the dashboard. From the dropdown menu, select "Settings."

3. Navigate to Account Deletion: In the "Account" section, scroll down to the bottom of the page. You will see an option labeled "Delete account."

4. Confirm Deletion: Click on "Delete account." A confirmation page will appear. You will need to enter your email address and password to confirm the deletion.

5. Final Confirmation: After entering your credentials, click on the "Delete everything" button to permanently delete your account.

• Deleting your Tumblr account is irreversible. Once deleted, all your blogs, posts, and data will be permanently removed.
