How to delete your account from Pinterest

Before you proceed, ensure you are logged into your Pinterest account.

Steps to delete your account

1. Login to your account: Open your web browser and go to Pinterest. Enter your login credentials to access your account.

2. Access your settings: Click on your profile picture at the top-right corner of the screen to open the dropdown menu. Select "Settings" from the menu.

3. Navigate to Account settings: In the left-hand menu, click on "Account settings."

4. Deactivate your account: Scroll down to the "Account changes" section. Here, you will see an option to "Deactivate account." Click on it.

5. Confirm deactivation: A pop-up window will appear asking you to confirm your decision. Click "Continue" to proceed.

6. Delete your account: After deactivating your account, you will receive an email from Pinterest. Open the email and click on the link provided to permanently delete your account.

Notes

• Deactivating your account will make your profile and boards invisible to other users, but it will not delete your account permanently.
• To permanently delete your account, you must follow the link sent to your email after deactivation.
• If you do not receive the email, check your spam or junk folder.
• Once your account is deleted, it cannot be recovered, and all your data will be permanently removed.
