How to delete your account from Medium

General Prerequisites

• Ensure you are logged into your Medium account.
• Make sure you have access to the email associated with your Medium account.

Steps to delete your account

1. Login to your account:

   • Go to Medium and log in using your credentials.

2. Navigate to Settings:

   • Click on your profile picture in the top-right corner of the screen.
   • From the dropdown menu, select "Settings."

3. Find the "Delete Account" option:

   • Scroll down to the bottom of the Settings page.
   • You will see an option labeled "Delete Account."

4. Delete your account:

   • Click on the "Delete Account" button.
   • A confirmation dialog will appear. Read the information carefully.
   • Confirm your decision by clicking the "Delete Account" button in the dialog.

Notes

• Deleting your Medium account is permanent and cannot be undone. All your stories, responses, and other data will be permanently removed.
• If you have any issues or cannot access your account, you can contact Medium support at [email protected] for assistance.
• Make sure to download any content you wish to keep before deleting your account, as this action is irreversible.
