How to delete your account from LastPass

Before proceeding, ensure you have access to your LastPass account and any necessary recovery information.

Steps to delete your account

1. Login to your LastPass account:

   • Open your web browser and go to LastPass Login.
   • Enter your email and master password to log in.

2. Access Account Settings:

   • Once logged in, click on your account icon or your email address in the top-right corner.
   • Select "Account Settings" from the dropdown menu.

3. Navigate to the Account Deletion Section:

   • In the Account Settings page, go to the "General" tab.
   • Scroll down to the bottom of the page until you find the "Delete Your Account" section.

4. Delete Your Account:

   • Click on the "Delete" button.
   • You will be prompted to enter your master password to confirm the deletion.
   • Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.

Notes

• Backup Your Data: Before deleting your account, ensure you have backed up any important data stored in LastPass, as this action is irreversible.
• Subscription Cancellation: If you have a paid subscription, make sure to cancel it before deleting your account to avoid any future charges.
• Support: If you encounter any issues or do not have access to your account, you can contact LastPass support at LastPass Support.

Deleting your LastPass account will permanently remove all your stored passwords and data from their servers. Make sure you have saved any necessary information elsewhere before proceeding.
