How to delete your account from Evernote

General Prerequisites

Steps to delete your account

1. Login to your Evernote account:

   • Visit Evernote and log in with your credentials.

2. Navigate to Account Settings:

   • Click on your profile picture or initials in the top left corner.
   • Select "Account Settings" from the dropdown menu.

3. Access the Account Status page:

   • Scroll down to the "Account Status" section.
   • Click on "Deactivate your Evernote account."

4. Confirm Deactivation:

   • Follow the prompts to confirm the deactivation of your account.
   • You may be asked to enter your password again for security purposes.

5. Final Confirmation:

   • You will receive a confirmation email. Open the email and follow the instructions to complete the deactivation process.

Notes

• Deactivating your account will not immediately delete your data. Evernote retains your data for a period of time in case you change your mind.
• If you are a Premium or Business user, make sure to cancel your subscription before deactivating your account to avoid future charges.
