How to delete your account from Edx

Before proceeding, ensure you have access to your Edx account and are logged in.

Steps to delete your account

1. Login to your Edx account:

   • Visit edx.org and log in with your credentials.

2. Navigate to Account Settings:

   • Click on your profile icon located at the top-right corner of the page.
   • From the dropdown menu, select "Account."

3. Access the Deactivation Page:

   • Scroll down to the bottom of the Account Settings page.
   • Look for the "Deactivate my account" section.

4. Deactivate Your Account:

   • Click on the "Deactivate my account" link.
   • A confirmation dialog will appear. Confirm that you want to deactivate your account by following the on-screen instructions.

Notes

• Deactivating your account will remove your access to Edx courses and any associated data.
• If you have any issues or cannot access your account, you can contact Edx support at [email protected] for assistance.
• Once your account is deactivated, it cannot be reactivated, and you will need to create a new account if you wish to use Edx services again.
