How to delete your account from Duolingo

General Prerequisites

• Ensure you are logged into your Duolingo account.
• Have access to the email associated with your Duolingo account.

Steps to delete your account

1. Log in to your Duolingo account:

   • Visit Duolingo and log in with your credentials.

2. Access your account settings:

   • Click on your profile picture or username in the top-right corner of the screen.
   • From the dropdown menu, select "Settings".

3. Navigate to the "Account" tab:

   • In the settings menu, click on the "Account" tab on the left-hand side.

4. Delete your account:

   • Scroll down to the bottom of the "Account" page.
   • Click on the "Delete my account" link.

5. Confirm the deletion:

   • You will be prompted to confirm the deletion. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.
   • You may receive an email to confirm the deletion. Open the email and follow the provided link to finalize the deletion of your account.

Notes

• Deleting your Duolingo account is permanent and cannot be undone. All your progress, data, and personal information will be permanently removed.
